Latin America

Welcome to the world of Latin America. A region of contrasts, where Hispanic roots harbor a friendly familiarity, witnessed from the northern desserts of Mexico, to the hypnotizing ruggedness of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, which rounds off the southern tip of South America.
Latin America is home to cosmopolitan cities which spill into colonial districts. A cultural stage where the traditions of people such as the pre-Hispanic Inca and Mesoamerican Mayan, colourfully clash with a modern world, set amongst colonial buildings and cobbled streets.
Nature explodes from the jungles of Costa Rica, Panama, and along the banks of the Amazon in Peru and Brazil. Other natural wonders include the Andean peaks of South America, and the world’s widest waterfall, located on the border of Argentina and Brazil, plus the tallest found in Venezuela.
The archaeological ruins of the ancient Maya, mysterious as they are accessible, can be explored in Southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Honduras. Just outside Mexico City, the Sun Pyramid stands proud as the worlds second largest; while the majestic citadel of Machu Pichu helps visitors discover the remarkable legacy of the Inca.
Culture, natural beauty, history and above all a friendly, accommodating people are waiting for you to Traverse America!
