Brazil is synonymous with music, joy and Rio Carnival. It has fascinating cities such as Salvador de Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, the imposing Amazonas, animals of the Pantanal and hundreds of beaches, which are just some of its attractions. Argentina is the land of tango and good wine, where natural wonders include the fantastic Iguazu Falls and the beautiful Patagonian landscapes. There you can climb the Aconcagua, the highest peak in America or visit Ushuaia, the most austral city in the world. Peru is waiting for you to discover the fascinating world of the Inca, which is highlighted by the ruins of Machu Picchu, the Inca trail and the city of Cusco. You can also visit the Nazca lines, beautiful beaches and exuberant nature. Chile is a vast country with a fascinating geography, from the Atacama Desert in the north, its more populated central region and the vibrant and green forests in the south featuring hundreds of islands and incredible landscapes including the postcard-perfect Villarica Volcano.
Bolivia will enchant the visitor with its 'Cerro Rico' or Rich Mountain in Potosi, the striking Lake Titicaca, the immense Uyuni Salt flats and the incredible La Paz, with its impossible geography. Ecuador is a land of surf beaches, beautiful handicrafts and pleasant cities such as Quito. There you can visit the Galapagos Islands with their unmatched excursions to meet unique species. Colombia, land of coffee, emeralds and Cumbia, will fascinate you in the beautiful Cartagena de Indias, and in the agitated Bogota. Venezuela, is famous for its petroleum, beautiful women and soap operas, plus it is a land of gorgeous Caribbean beaches, jungle and mountains. Discover the extraordinary Morrocoy National Park, the beautiful Margarita Island and the Orinoco River delta which are only a few of the wonders that it has to offer.
Central America is a different voyage, full of landscapes made up of forests, mountains and beaches. Guatemala will captivate your mind with the secrets of its enchanting Maya ruins; El Salvador with its variety of handicrafts astounds travellers by their beauty; and Belize, with coral reefs for diving and unique caves. Costa Rica will entrap you with its enormous national parks encompassing jungle, lakes, beaches and an abundance of wildlife.
In Honduras you can visit the impressive Copán ruins or the amusing carnival of La Ceiba, dive the word famous reefs off Roatan or history buffs may prefer to view the place where Christopher Columbus landed in Trujillo. Nicaragua is synonymous with adventures, beautiful volcanoes, large lakes and jungle perfect for ecotourism; and finally you must visit the modern Panama with it's huge buildings and the famous Panama Canal, a real marvel of modern engineering.
Mexico has a wealth of geographical and cultural environments, plus large cities that carry the pulse of modern metropolises. Mexico City is so intense and attractive you need several days to fully know and enjoy it. Other amazing cities rich in colonial architecture include Guanajuato, San Miguel Allende, Merida amongst many others, which only make up a small part of the hundreds of attractions of this country. The culture is inherited, in parts, from the enormous legacy of the Mayan and Aztecs, whom also left remarkable ruins like Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza.
In Mexico you can enjoy unique beaches on both the Pacific and Caribbean sides of the country, ideal for surfing, scuba diving, and fishing or do what most people do, just relax. And without a doubt, Mexico is an excellent destination for the lovers of ecotourism, with many biosphere reserves and unimaginable natural parks, such as those in Chiapas. Do not forget to enjoy the delicious Mexican food, rich as it is exotic.
Cuba is a unique experience, full of contrasts and surprises that invite you to indulge yourself in its history, people and landscapes. This is the land of Rum, the famous 'habanos' (Cigars), rumba and the Cha Cha Cha. The beautiful city of Havana leads you to another time and tests your heart in every corner. The romantic walks by 'El Malecon' and through La Havana Vieja are just impossible to miss.
There are more than 300 wonderful beaches with excellent hotels and all the amenities which make Cuba a place for that dreamed holiday. Cuba also has beautiful colonial cities like Trinidad, Cienfuegos or Santiago de Cuba, and hundreds of traditions and festivals to enjoy year round.
